What started out as a new assembly task for KÄHNY some 45 years ago has developed into a success story that has gone on to change the entire industry.

The challenge that had to be solved was brazing carbide tips onto basic saw bodies made of steel. This was then followed by brazing hard metal heads onto steel shafts, revolutionizing the production of drills for the dental area and the semiconductor industry.
